Pascual Izquierdo

Sotillo de la Ribera (Burgos), 1951

He was born in Sotillo de la Ribera, in 1951. He got a Bachelor of Arts, Spanish  Major (Licenciado en Filología Hispánica) and studied Technical Telecommunication Engineering. He is a Literary Critic, and has prepared several editions of Spanish 19th century writers.

Five of his Poetry books have been published, including “La exactitud de las catedrales”, “Versos de luna y polen” and “Pasillo para aguas, aves y vientos”.

He has also published several travel guides and books, including a Guide to Ribera del Duero, ordered by Regulatory Council for the Designation of Origin (D.O.) Ribera del Duero.

Some of his articles received Viatur Award in 1995. He has also written texts for children and young readers. His last published book is “Prosas profanas del Camino de Santiago”.
